MARTINSVILLE, IN (July 2022) – Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand, today announced the grand opening of its new Martinsville, Ind., club located at 2082 Burton Lane. New members can join for $1 down, then $10 per month or $1 down and $24.99 a month for a PF Black Card®, until August 3.
Planet Fitness is celebrating the grand opening of its new location from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, July 29, with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Kenneth Costin and the Martinsville Chamber of Commerce starting at 3:00 p.m. During the celebration, Planet Fitness will donate $2,500 to the Indy Honor Flights, a local non-profit organization that honors Indiana veterans for their service and sacrifice.
To celebrate the grand opening, NASCAR driver Joey Logano’s Ford Mustang Race Car (No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil) will be parked in front of the new club for all attendees to enjoy. Guests will be able to take photos with and around the beloved race car from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. before, during and after Planet Fitness’ grand opening festivities. Attendees will also enjoy giveaways and raffle prizes – including a chance to win VIP tickets for NASCAR & IndyCar Series Weekend Experiences (NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series & IndyCar Series Race Weekend), which take place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway from July 29 – July 31. The experience features suite passes, a meet-and-greet with Logano and pit row access.
