Popular Boxing Studio Teams Up with Nonprofit to Host Classes to Benefit Mission October 25-31

PHOENIX – Jabz, a full-body circuit style workout that utilizes boxing-inspired exercises, has announced its partnership with Bright Pink, a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.

From October 25-31, Jabz studios across the country will be hosting a series of donation-based classes throughout the week to benefit Bright Pink’s mission, which is to save lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering women to know their risk and manage their health proactively.

Throughout the week, the designated Bright Pink workouts will be open to the public with a recommended minimum donation of $5 per class. All attendees are encouraged to wear pink to the special classes and will be provided with access to digital tools from Bright Pink to help them understand their individual risks and personalize their prevention plans.

“We’re honored to partner with Bright Pink and believe wholeheartedly in their movement to inspire and empower women to know their risks and take proactive steps to prevent breast and ovarian cancer,” said Danielle Scott, Jabz Brand President. ”In addition to raising awareness and driving donations to support and advance Bright Pink’s mission, we hope to equip our teams, members and attendees with tangible knowledge and digital assets that will help inform them of their own risk so that they can be proactive and advocate for their own health.”

Headquartered in Chicago, Bright Pink is the only national nonprofit organization that focuses on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. With a focus on health rather than cancer, Bright Pink inspires women to make behavior changes that can greatly improve their lives. Through innovative digital tools and constituent-centric marketing, Bright Pink engages women in educational experiences to help them understand their risk and personalize their prevention plan. By leveraging strategic media and brand partnerships to deliver these programs to women where they are, on their terms, and in their language, Bright Pink aims to change the national conversation beyond awareness to action.

"Bright Pink is so proud to team up with Jabz this fall to spread the word about life-saving breast and ovarian cancers prevention and early detection information to members nationwide,” said Ginny Ehrlich, Bright Pink CEO. “Through the generosity of Jabz's commitment to our mission, we will have the power to empower more women with the information, tools, and resources they need to take charge of their breast and ovarian health. Together, we will create a more beautiful and brighter future.”
