CHINO HILLS, Calif. – (August 11, 2022) – The Camp Transformation Center, a radically different fitness franchise with community-focused gyms that have transformed thousands of lives across the United States, is on track for record-breaking franchise development growth in 2022. The Camp is seeing a surge of longtime franchise partners inking multi-unit agreements to expand reach within the brand.

“As we continue to close new deals at an unprecedented pace, we’ve realized not only are we welcoming new entrepreneurs into the fold, but existing franchise partners are shifting their focus to multi-unit opportunities,” said Alejandra Font, co-founder and CEO of The Camp Transformation Center. “This is a testament to The Camp’s innovative business model, supportive leadership, and the genuine impact our facilities have on improving the health and wellbeing of those we serve.”

The brand started 2022 with 106 gyms operating across the nation. By July, that number jumped to 113. The Camp has awarded 15 new licenses this year with nearly half of those allotted to existing franchise partners. The Camp is on pace to open 10 more facilities by the end of the year and estimate to have an additional 21 open by the end of 2023.

Sonia Sagar, a former Camp gym member turned franchise owner, is contributing to the brand’s multi-unit growth.

“When I learned about this opportunity, I knew there were two avenues I could take — own and operate one Camp location and make a career out of it or invest in multiple gyms. I chose the latter and signed a 13-unit deal at the age of 20,” said Sagar. “I would not be a multi-unit franchise owner if The Camp wasn't a fulfilling opportunity. Witnessing our members’ weight-loss journeys, mindset, and overall self-confidence shift makes a world of difference.”

Now 27, Sagar currently owns seven Camp locations across the state of California. To date, she’s launched a total of 10 gyms, opening and flipping three in the process. Sagar plans to have three additional locations up and running by 2025.

“Sonia’s loyalty and dedication to our brand, clients, and team are what we seek in potential franchise partners,” said Font. “With her relentless ambition, new franchise partners in the pipeline, and more than 30 deals secured this year, we are eager to build off this historic growth and raise the bar even higher in 2023.”
