DALLAS – BODYBAR Pilates (BODYBAR), known for its use of core Pilates principles with a modern twist, announced today it has signed a monumental franchise agreement to bring studios to Roanoke, Texas; Flower Mound, Texas; Orlando, Florida; and Nashville, Tennessee.

The Reformer Pilates studio concept that has become a health and wellness hit in the Dallas – Fort Worth area is now elongating that enthusiasm nationwide. Blending its focus on strength, toning and modern movement with a warm, welcoming, spa-like environment, BODYBAR creates an unmatched Pilates experience centered on fostering a destination where a community of members can come together daily to maintain sound mind, body and spirit.

“Vivek and I have recently become more attuned to our personal health and wellness, and I’ve always had an interest in Pilates,” said Jyoti Bhatia, co-owner of the new studios in Texas, Florida and Tennessee alongside her husband, Vivek. “BODYBAR offered us the opportunity to open a business that aligned with our lifestyle preferences, while also helping other people reach their fitness goals.”

A native Texan, Jyoti has experience in sales and customer service and most recently worked in the hospitality industry as a consultant for corporate accounts. Vivek, on the other hand, spent time in strategy consulting before becoming an entrepreneur and eventually, an investment manager. Their combined experiences complement each other and will help the Bhatia’s as they launch their new BODYBAR Pilates studios.

“This is our first entry into the world of franchising, so aside from finding the right brand, we also wanted to ensure we had the right partners to help guide us through this process,” Vivek added. “The BODYBAR executive team has extensive experience in the franchise and fitness industries, and we look forward to leveraging their knowledge as we open our new studios.”

The two new Texas locations will be the ninth and tenth in the state; the Orlando location will be the fourth in Florida; and the Nashville location will be the first in Tennessee. Rooted in Pilates principles, each 40 to 50-minute BODYBAR Pilates class is designed to provide a full-body workout that is high-intensity, low-impact and perfect for increasing flexibility, muscle strength, posture and boosting overall health. Whether a member is a 70-year-old wellness guru or a 25-year-old who is just getting started, the BODYBAR workout can be customized to meet everyone’s personal fitness goals.

“Jyoti and Vivek are exactly the kind of people we’re looking to grow our brand with,” said Matt McCollum, CEO of BODYBAR Pilates. “They understand the work it takes to be successful, and we’re ready to help them ignite the Transform Your Body, Transform Your Life movement in Roanoke, Flower Mound, Nashville and Orlando.”

BODYBAR is continuing its expansion with qualified entrepreneurs like the Bhatias into key territories across the United States, including Austin, Houston and San Antonio in Texas as well as Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Tampa Bay.
