Xponential Fitness Signs Deal with Lululemon to Create Content for Mirror

One day after launching its new digital platform Xponential+, Xponential Fitness announced that it is teaming with lululemon to create original fitness programming for Mirror, which is lululemon’s smart home gym offering.

Four of Xponential’s 10 brands – AKT, Pure Barre, Rumble and YogaSix – will provide workouts for the Mirror starting with the launch in the fall of the latest edition of the Mirror product.

Under the agreement, Xponential will provide a curated set of programming developed by the four brands with new releases each quarter over the next year. This agreement will expand the breadth of the Mirror’s library of digital fitness across multiple fitness modalities.

“We are very excited to partner with lululemon to bring the best in fitness right into the comfort of one’s home,” Garrett Marshall, president of fitness streaming for Xponential Fitness, said in the announcement. “With the combination of lululemon’s community-oriented ethos and Mirror’s elegant and approachable delivery platform, this partnership was an optimal fit with our desire to make great class workouts available to everyone, anywhere. The Mirror has developed a strong community amongst its members, and we are thrilled to be able to share the power of the Xponential Fitness experience with its membership in addition to our own thriving global membership base.”

Xponential Fitness’ partnership with lululemon and the Mirror is anticipated to bring even greater awareness to the company’s brands and further strengthen its omni channel offering of virtual and in-person classes, Xponential said.

The partnership follows Xponential’s recent launch of the Xponential+ (XPLUS) digital platform, which replaced Xponential’s previous digital offering, GO. XPLUS provides live and on-demand access to the same workouts offered in Xponential’s 10 studio brands.

XPLUS is available for $29.99 per month and also enables users to view nearby Xponential Fitness studios and request a free class or booking information, augmenting the personalized hybrid in-studio and online experience.

In addition to AKT, Pure Barre, Rumble and YogaSix, Xponential’s other brands are Club Pilates, CycleBar, StretchLab, Row House, STRIDE and BFT.

Both Xponential and lululemon are publicly traded companies. Lululemon acquired Mirror in summer 2020 for $500 million. Lululemon shared on April 20 that it has a five-year growth plan to double its 2021 revenue of $6.25 billion to $12.5 billion by 2026.

Lululemon tripled its digital revenue between 2018 and 2021, and it projects to double its digital revenue by 2026.
