Selina Tobaccowala, the chief digital officer at Openfit (now part of Beachbody), will offer one of the keynotes at the Club Industry Executive Summit, Club Industry announced on Sept. 27. The summit will occur Nov. 8-10 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville.
Tobaccowala has a passion for ensuring fitness is accessible to everyone, and in her presentation, “Your Path to More Revenue Starts with Making Fitness Accessible to Everyone,” she will share how the fitness industry can expand to reach more than the 20 percent of Americans who belong to health clubs.
Tobaccowala was co-founder and CEO of Gixo, which was acquired by Openfit. Prior to that, she served as the president and CTO at Survey Monkey from 2009 to 2016. Under her leadership, Survey Monkey grew to become the world’s dominant survey company online with 16 million surveys processed per day.
Before Survey Monkey, Tobaccowala co-founded Evite, the online invitation service, and held senior engineering roles at Ticketmaster, where she oversaw European engineering and product operations.
She serves on the board of directors of Redfin, a multi-billion dollar full-service technology-enabled real estate brokerage that went public in August 2017.

Tobaccowala’s presentation will be a general session at lunch on Nov. 9 and will be attended by all three tracks of the event: the Club and Studio Summit, the Not-for-Profit Summit and the CEO Summit (the invitation-only portion of the event for the highest revenue-generating club companies in the country).
