Adam Zeitsiff Moves from Intelivideo to Self Esteem Brands

Adam Zeitsiff has left his role as CEO at Intelivideo to become president of Stronger U Nutrition, the newest company in the Self Esteem Brands portfolio, Zeitsiff announced.

Self Esteem Brands, which was founded by Chuck Runyon and Dave Mortensen, is the parent company of Anytime Fitness, Basecamp Fitness, The Bar Method, Healthy Contributions, Waxing the City and Provision Security.

Stronger U is a personalized nutrition coaching program tailored to individual’s needs and challenges using a technology platform. Self Esteem Brands bought the company in June 2021 for an undisclosed amount.

“Our company’s mission is to ‘change the way the world eats,’ and we will work hand-in-hand with the SEB portfolio as we collectively strive to meet the surging consumer demand for more comprehensive fitness, nutrition, and personal wellness programs,” Zeitsiff wrote on LinkedIn when announcing his move. “The global growth opportunity for Stronger U is tremendous, and I can’t wait to dive in with their very talented team.”

Zeitsiff started with Stronger U Nutrition on Jan. 10. He will remain based in Dallas and will travel to the Minneapolis headquarters of Self Esteem Brands on a regular basis, he told Club Industry.

“My first goal is to establish strong, trusting relationships with the entire Stronger U team and my colleagues at Self Esteem Brands,” Zeitsiff told Club Industry. “At the same time, I will be working to understand the roadmap and vision for the company, and over the first 90 or so days, will be building a long-term plan to scale the business globally through a number of important channels.”

Zeitsiff had been with Intelivideo since October 2020. During that time, he helped align the company with some of the industry’s most recognized companies, including ABC Fitness Solutions and Matrix Fitness, and he oversaw client onboarding of brands such as YouFit Gyms, Gold’s Gym DC, Gold’s Gym SoCal, and 9Round Fitness, according to an announcement from Intelivideo. Matt Given, executive chairman and former president and CEO of intelivideo, will assume the president and CEO role for the video on-demand and livestreaming platform company.

Prior to his work at Intelivideo, Zeitsiff had served as CEO of Gold’s Gym.

“I believe my experience and Gold’s Gym from both a club operations and franchise development perspective, as well as my time at Intelivideo helping to deploy virtual fitness and coaching platforms to club operators around the world, helped to provide me with the perfect combination of experience required to take this position and grow the Stronger U business both in a direct-to-consumer fashion, and in partnership with SEB’s growing base of franchised fitness facilities, including Basecamp, The Bar Method and their flagship brand, Anytime Fitness,” Zeitsiff said.
