MEDWAY, MA -- Cybex International, Medway, MA, recently donated $25,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The donation came from an October-long promotion in which Cybex pink treadmills ran at varying speeds in fitness clubs and YMCAs across the country for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Cybex pledged a donation to the BCRF for every mile logged on the pink treadmills and, in doing so, promoted the importance of exercise and its impact in reducing the risk of breast cancer and preventing recurrence, according to the company.
