Planet Fitness

Twenty-one fitness companies made Entrepreneur's 2019 Franchise 500 Ranking list. More than 1,000 companies applied for the publication's 40th annual roundup, featuring franchisors across numerous professional industries.

To be eligible for Entrepreneur's list, a franchisor must be seeking new franchisees in the United States or Canada and must have had a minimum of 10 facilities open and operating as of July 31, 2018. More than 1,000 franchisors submitted their companies for consideration and were scored across five criteria: support, costs and fees, size and growth, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.
