PFP Announces Three Trainer of the Year Finalists

PFP has announced the three finalists for its 2015 PFP Trainer of the Year contest.

The three finalists are Brent Gallagher of West U Fitness, Houston; Jacey Gengenbach, Parkinson's Health Development Program, Omaha, NE; and Mindy Mylrea, Gliding Discs and Tabata Boot Camp, Santa Cruz, CA.

All three finalists will be flown to Chicago to participate in the Club Industry Show, Oct. 22-24. The winner will be announced on the Club LIVE Stage at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23. The winner will receive more than $12,500 in donations and prizes. The runners-up will each receive almost $1,000 in prizes in addition to their trip to the Club Industry Show.

Valorie Ness of Atlanta's Catalyst Fitness Midtown and Dan Ritchie, owner and founder of Miracles Fitness, West Lafayette, IN, have won the previous two PFP Trainer of the Year awards. Ritchie is leading a preconference functional aging specialist workshop, eligible for CEUs, on Oct. 21 prior to the Club Industry Show.
