AB Show Shines in Orlando

ORLANDO — Have a passion for what you do. Set realistic goals and write them down. Have the commitment to make that goal a reality. These were college basketball analyst Dick Vitale's words of advice to the audience of fitness, recreation and sports professionals in attendance at the 2005 Athletic Business Conference and Expo at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

“The drive to be better today than yesterday is what drives successful people in the corporate world and the business world,” Vitale said.

The early December conference attracted more than 3,000 fitness and recreation professionals. The show featured seminars, workshops, early morning workouts, an exhibit hall featuring 310 exhibitors and keynote speakers such as Vitale, Dr. Kenneth Cooper of the Cooper Institute and Julie Foudy, recently retired soccer team captain of the U.S. Women's National Team.

The 2006 conference is scheduled for Nov. 15-17 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.
