Woodway Patent Ruled Infringed By Manufacturer For Non-Motorized Treadmill

WAUKESHA, WI, September 26, 2017 – WOODWAY USA, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of treadmills and other health, fitness, and rehabilitation equipment, announced today that a federal Connecticut court ruled that the TrueForm Runner treadmill sold by Samsara Fitness, LLC infringes WOODWAY’s patent, U.S. Patent No. 9,039,580.

The case is ongoing and WOODWAY is seeking an order from the Court enjoining Samsara Fitness from selling the TrueForm Runner treadmill along with monetary damages, among other things. The litigation is pending in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, Case No. 3:15-cv-01665-JCH.

Multiple patents, including U.S. Patent No. 9,039,580, protect WOODWAY’s line of non- motorized CURVE treadmills.
