TRIB3 Further Strengthens Its Board with The Appointment of Jordy Kool As Ned

In anticipation of additional international expansion of its fitness franchise, TRIB3 is delighted to announce that it has further strengthened its Board with the appointment of Jordy Kool, as a non-executive director.

As a seasoned investor in the health and fitness space, Jordy is no stranger to the TRIB3 brand. During the pandemic he took an investment position in TRIB3 International through Iron Asset Management C.V. and acquired the exclusive development rights for TRIB3 in the BENELUX region through The Urban Gym Group. Together with his increased involvement as a non-executive director, Jordy has taken the opportunity to increase his investment position in TRIB3 International.

TRIB3 Chairman, Jonathan Fisher said of the appointment, “We are delighted that Jordy has accepted this role and with his increased involvement. As TRIB3 emerges from the pandemic period, we are seeing increased evidence of its business unit economics and the appeal of its brand in the franchise sector. Jordy´s appointment is a meaningful strengthening of the TRIB3 team at a time when it is preparing to scale its franchise business globally through Master Franchise and Area Development Agreements.  The experience of scaling businesses that Jordy Kool brings to the table is world-class and a real asset for TRIB3.  He has been central to the success of a strong portfolio of global and high profile tech, telecom, media, and health and fitness businesses. Jordy´s track-record of growing businesses is outstanding with one in particular scaling from $65m to $1bn of revenue over a 7 year period.

Jordy Kool said: “TRIB3 is an outstanding fitness franchise brand, driven by a dynamic, experienced and ambitious team . I am looking forward to working closely with the Fisher family,  Kevin Yates and the international team to further execute and develop our strategy for growth. I have always loved the health and fitness business and the franchise model offers a wonderful blend of creating wealth for franchise partners at the same time as promoting health, resilience and happiness in the communities built around the TRIB3 experience.”

TRIB3 CEO and Founder Kevin Yates commented : “It is a great asset for a company when its shareholders are aligned and its board members with their diverse experience bind together as a team. When I look around at this Board, it’s the who’s who of amazing individuals. We have Allan Fisher who created part of the blueprint for modern day fitness operation and scalable growth, Rob Barker, one of the industry's most highly regarded executives and now with Jordy Kool. We have an outstanding fusion of the world’s top talent to steer our strategy and growth plans. I must also mention our other Board members who continue to challenge, support and drive the operational and franchise team every step of the way.  We have an allstar team that is enthused and totally committed to execute our global expansion plans.

This appointment follows news of two more international franchise territories secured as part of an area development deal. Ten new TRIB3 stores will launch in Greece and Cyprus over the next five years, with the first due to open in Q42022.
