TIMONIUM, Md. (Oct. 17, 2022) – Planet Fitness – one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand – announces further expansion in the Sunshine State.
Planet Fitness Parkland is coming to 9525 Westview Drive Coral Springs, FL 33076. Located in the Magnolia Shoppes, the 19,703-square-foot space is currently a YouFit gym that will close Oct. 25. Planet Fitness will completely gut, rebuild and equip the facility, for a total investment of $2.8 million.
With an anticipated December opening, the brand-new fitness center will offer state-of-the-art cardio machines and strength equipment, 30-Minute Express Circuit, fully equipped locker rooms with lockers and showers, numerous flat screen televisions, HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning beds and more – all in a hassle-free environment.

As an introductory special, members can join with no commitment for 25 cents down, then $10/month with the Classic membership or $24.99/month for the PF Black Card® membership. Registration will open online Oct. 26 at planetfitness.com/gyms/parkland-fl and in-person at the club: Mondays-Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays-Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
PF Black Card® membership includes the ability to bring a guest every day at no additional charge, access to all 2,300+ Planet Fitness locations in all 50 states, as well as access to massage beds, chairs and tanning, among other benefits
The Parkland club will be Planet Fitness’ 27th in the area and PFGP’s 9th in Florida. The Group’s portfolio currently includes eight clubs in Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward counties: Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Delray Beach East, Hillsboro, Margate, North Miami Beach, Pompano and Tamarac.
