Technogym has taken the difficult decision to postpone the “Let’s Move for a Better World” social campaign, due to restrictions in place in different countries. Meanwhile Technogym is, more than ever, alongside fitness and wellness operators to support them dealing with the current scenario with digital technologies
After the feedback from many fitness club operators in different countries, Technogym has taken the difficult decision to postpone the Let’s Move for a Better World Campaign to October 5th – 24th.
“Let’s Move for a Better World” is Technogym’s initiative that involve fitness and wellness facilities around the biggest social campaign in the fitness and wellness industry. It leverages Technogym’s technology and connected equipment to motivate people to join their local fitness club, to move more and more regularly, and to donate their movement for a social cause. More the people train in clubs, more Technogym donates to local charities defined by the different clubs.
At its 7th edition, the “Let’s Move for a better world” campaign in 2020 has registered an unprecedented success: over 1600 clubs are already registered in 46 countries. Following such a success in registrations, we expect up to 500.000 people will take part to the campaign.
Due to the current Covid19 spread and to restriction that many countries are putting in place, Technogym has decided to postpone “Let’s Move for a Better World” in order to allow this huge community to fully enjoy the social campaign all over the word.
Meanwhile Technogym will keep working, more than ever, alongside fitness and wellness club operators in order to help them dealing with the current difficulties affecting many countries. Digital technologies offer operators many ways to stay connected and to continue managing their members training experience remotely, when outside the facility. As many researches show, members that have the possibility to train also outside the club prove to be more loyal to the club in the mid-long term, even if for a period of time they cannot attend.
