NEW YORK CITY – MARCH 17, 2020 FitGrid, the only smart community management software that helps fitness studio owners drive success, today launches FitGrid LIVE, the first live-stream class solution for studios. FitGrid LIVE integrates MINDBODY and Zoom to provide a seamless, user-friendly way for instructors and clients to continue their routines during the pause to in-person classes brought on by COVID-19.
For studio partners, FitGrid presents a list of classes on their current MINDBODY schedule to select which they’d like to live stream. FitGrid automatically creates a Zoom session for that class and automatically sends each client who signs up for that class an email with the access link.
FitGrid LIVE allows studios to:

- Live-stream from anywhere, anytime
- Automatically create a live-stream class
- Automatically email live-stream links to clients
- Automatically send live-stream host link to instructors
- Accept and control payment through MINDBODY
Studio clients, yogis, boot campers, spinners, and pilates junkies alike can use their existing memberships or class packages to sign up for classes just as they normally would. Once they have signed up, they will receive a confirmation email and a link to the class 30 minutes before the start time.

For FitGrid LIVE to work properly, studio partners using FitGrid software will need to buy a Zoom “Pro” subscription ($14.99/month). There is no additional fee from FitGrid. New clients can try FitGrid for free for 30 days and then choose between the Silver and Gold payment plans to continue using FitGrid’s suite of retention tools and features, ranging from a quantitative view of instructor effectiveness (retention, profitability, fill rates, etc.) to automated live streaming, daily outreach lists, and recommended messaging. New FitGrid clients will still need to pay Zoom’s monthly fee for streaming.
