‘Life Transformations Begin with Balanced Habits’

(OAKLAND, CA, COSTA MESA, CA, June 11, 2018)  – The Association of Fitness Studios (AFS) today proudly announced and welcomed Balanced Habits to its membership ranks.

Founded in 2013 by former gym owners Paul & Carolyn Fetters, Balanced Habits certifies Food Coaches, educating them on proper balanced nutrition and implementation of sustainable programs for use inside the studio environment. Balanced Habits certifications are recognized by AAFA & NASM as a continuing education provider.

Balanced Habits helps the studio business owner by providing the tools, resources, and know-how to help clients improve their overall quality of life through customized nutrition guidance.  Located in 100+ locations throughout the US and Canada, through their partners the Balanced Habits programs have helped over 125,000 individuals reach their goals.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Balanced Habits into AFS’ associate membership program,” said Josh Leve, AFS founder and CEO.  “We’ve been seeking a strong partner in nutrition and Balanced Habits is certainly that.”

Balanced Habits’ mission is to educate people how to eat real food by providing a sustainable approach based on balanced macronutrients and sensible portions of all the foods they already enjoy.   “If sustainability is the goal, the approach has to make sense and be simple to implement,” says CEO and Founder, Carolyn Fetters.

As importantly, Balanced Habits partners are selected based on their ability to provide individual and personalized coaching to their customers.  Their programs are structured on that fact that every body is a complex and unique individual requiring a personally tailored nutritional program to produce the best results.

“We’ve been working on and off behind the scenes with AFS for months,” said Paul Fetters, Director Of Sales And Business Development. “My wife, Carolyn, and I believe that our programs will resonate with the AFS community and that AFS programs are an ideal means of reaching the market.”

Balanced Habits programs are easy to follow and custom designed to the individual’s body, lifestyle and goals. The focus is on getting participants the results they want and deserve.

“We’re not magicians,” said Fetters, “but we are experts in body transformation.”
