High-end fitness brand will resume its iconic training program under strict safety protocol; on-site workouts will be offered in conjunction with 54D ON, a comprehensive online program catering to those staying home
CORAL GABLES, FLA. – October 12, 2020 – 54D, the revolutionary high-end boutique group-fitness brand, will reopen its flagship South Florida location on October 19. The 54D family will welcome back members and staff to its Coral Gables studio, at 4210 Ponce de Leon Blvd, kicking off 54D’s signature nine-weeklong training program.
54D studios have been retrofitted with industry-standard air purifiers and will operate under stringent safety and hygiene standards, as proposed by medical health experts, to ensure the wellbeing of members and staff. The new time slots available to existing and new members will be 6:00am, 7:15am, 8:30am, 9:45am, 11:00am and 6:30pm.
54D Generation groups will be reduced and members will be asked to wear masks at all times. Strict cleaning measures will be implemented and take place during the day, with additional spacing time assigned between classes to ensure the thorough disinfection of the different training zones and equipment.
Brand founder Rodrigo Garduño kept the 54D movement alive amid the pandemic with daily workouts on Instagram Live, which broke live streaming records with an average of 30,000 daily live viewers, and the introduction of 54D ON, a revolutionary online program designed to offer the brand’s followers the same high intensity workout they would get at a 54D studio in Miami, Bogota or Mexico City, with the benefit of not having to leave home.
“We developed a holistic online program, designed to offer the same in-studio experience to all of our loyal existing members, as well as to the thousands of people who followed our daily IG Live free training during quarantine,” Garduño said. “Now it’s time to reopen our doors for those who were anxiously waiting to meet again with their fellow Coral Gables family members of fitness aficionados.”
