Erica Tillinghast, MS, BA, cPT, brings 20 years of fitness industry experience as a marketing leader, international presenter, product and curriculum designer, and fitness educator. With a background working at fitness facilities and directly for fitness equipment vendors, Erica offers a customer-centric perspective on fitness business success. She is the Director of Wellness Science and Programming at Precor where she works cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales and design teams to introduce new products and invigorate its legacy portfolio.

Terry Blachek

Terry Blachek has over 30 years of experience in management, operations, sales, marketing, and the development of health and fitness club companies. He’s currently the CEO and owner of Austin Fitness Group, LLC, an Orangetheory Fitness franchise with 133 studios across Texas, Arizona, Kansas, and beyond. Terry is also one of the original founders of Orangetheory Fitness corporate (upon sale by the concept creators). Today, Terry spends most of his time in Austin, Texas, as the area developer for Orangetheory Fitness. He’s widely regarded for his creation of Orangetheory’s unparalleled pre-sales process and is considered to be an elite health and fitness club operator.

Marisa is Director of Operations at The Empower Group, a full-service consulting firm based in California. Marisa’s focus is working with fitness professionals and their businesses to achieve growth and continued success. Previously, Marisa was the GM at Stevenson Fitness, a full-service boutique club near L.A.  She is an Ambassador for the Women in Fitness Association.  Marisa holds a master’s degree in Education and is an international presenter at conferences, including IHRSA, Athletic Business, The Retention Convention Bejing, and IDEA.
