Sal Pellegrino has joined ABC Financial, Sherwood, Arkansas, as the company's senior vice president of client management.
Pellegrino will oversee the overall strategic approach for customer experience, the company said in a media release announcing the hire on Tuesday.
"Sal Pellegrino has been a respected and knowledgeable member of the fitness industry for decades," ABC Financial Chief Revenue Officer Steve Ayers said in a statement. "We are honored and excited about this expansion to our team. ABC and our clients will truly benefit from his addition."
Pellegrino was previously the director of national accounts at Star Trac in a position he held since May 2010. Pellegrino has more than 30 years of experience in the fitness industry as a club owner and equipment supplier. His experience also includes business growth, and fitness facility and non-profit operation development.
Founded in 1981, ABC Financial's billing and health club management software services cover 6,600 clubs throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, according to its website. Its vendors include Seas & Associates LLC, Medallia, dotFit, FitRewards and Netpulse.
