INDIANAPOLIS, IN — New Lady Fitness, an Indianapolis, IN-based women-only franchise, folded 12 clubs in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and Nebraska and transferred memberships to co-ed gyms in Omaha, NE, and the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Three New Lady Fitness clubs in Indianapolis have different owners and remain open, according to the corporate office.
As of press time, the closings had prompted 115 complaints to the Missouri Attorney General's Office, which is reviewing the complaints and seeking more information from owners.
