The 32nd annual Club Industry Show (Oct. 24-26) opens Wednesday at the Hilton Chicago and will kick off with full day of conference programming and networking opportunities, including the evening Welcome Reception.
On Wednesday, education sessions begin at 8:15 a.m. and run until 5:15 p.m. This year's conference platform features more than 90 education sessions and nearly 100 expert presenters. The nine tracks—marketing, programming, management and leadership, active training, personal training, trends and technology, wellness, retention and sales—were curated by industry leaders including Bill McBride, CEO of Active Wellness and BMC3 Consulting; Casey Conrad, president of Communications Consultants; and Dr. Kevin Steele, president of PTA Global and PTontheNet. Learn more about our track chairs here.
Most of the sessions qualify for CEUs/CECs from the follow organizations: AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NASM, NFPT, NSCA, NCSF, PTA Global and WITS. Be sure to download this year's CEC form to track your attendance.
Wednesday's programming culminates with the Welcome Reception, held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Hilton's 720 South Bar. Admission to the reception is included with your show badge at no additional cost, so be sure to take advantage of this fun networking opportunity, sponsored by Woodway and The Abs Company.
In addition to the continuation of conference programming, Thursday marks the opening of the exhibit hall, the co-located Medical Fitness Tour, The Sisterhood Stride at Club Industry 5K Run/Walk and multiple networking events. Learn more about Thursday and Friday's programming here. Also on Thursday, you won't want to miss author and entrepreneur Ford Saeks' keynote presentation.
