Adam Zeitstiff is leaving his position as president of Jonas Fitness Inc, Webster, Texas, and his last day is Friday.
Zeitstiff's replacement has not been named yet, but a formal announcement is expected soon, according to sources familiar to the hiring process.
Zeitstiff told Club Industry he will provide ad hoc consulting over the next few months to Jonas Fitness, helping with strategic accounts and current project developments.
"The leadership team and everyone at Jonas Fitness and Jonas Software wish to thank Adam for making us the great company we are today," Jonas Fitness said in a statement to Club Industry. "We also look forward to seeing Adam in the future as we know he has some exciting plans in the works for his next big career challenge."
Zeitstiff joined Jonas Software in October 2009 as business unit manager and he became president of Jonas Fitness in March 2013 after the acquisition of Club Solutions from Fiserv, Inc. He has 12 years of experience in the fitness software space and was named an "Outstanding CEO" by the Long Island Business News in 2015.
Jonas Fitness' customer base includes over 6,000 health and fitness clubs across the United States and Canada.
Jonas Fitness' parent company, Jonas Software, provides enterprise management software and billing solutions to a variety of industries, including golf and private club, fitness, sports and leisure, attractions, foodservice and construction. The company has over 25,000 customers in more than 15 countries, according to its website.
