For the seventh time, the Italian leader in fitness, wellness and athletic training has been appointed Official Supplier of the Olympic Games
Technogym will be the Official Fitness Equipment Supplier for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games. Internationally recognized for setting the standard in athletic training, rehabilitation and wellness, the South Korean Games 2018 will be Technogym’s seventh Olympic experience, after Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Turin 2006, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016.

In PyeongChang and Gangneung, Technogym will equip 13 centers for athletes to train prior to and during the Games. The main training center at PyeongChang, will be open to all athletes taking part in the Games and will be equipped with a wide range of products to address the needs of all winter sport disciplines. The other 12 training centers will be located at additional competition venues and designed for the specific disciplines at those locations. Approximately one thousand pieces of equipment will be made available to the 3000 athletes, coming from 85 different countries and performing in 15 different disciplines. Technogym will also provide a team of professional athletic trainers to support the athletes and facilities.
The PyeongChang 2018 athletes will be able to train on a selection of the best and most innovative products, including cardio, strength and functional training. All Technogym equipment will be fully integrated with the Mywellness cloud, the Technogym digital platform enabling users to stay connected to their own personal training program directly on the equipment itself and via their mobile devices.
The state of the art solutions Technogym will take to South Korea include the newly released SKILLRUNTM, the first piece of running equipment specifically designed for Athletic Performance Training. It combines cardio and power training in one place, allowing users to perform running sessions to improve cardiovascular performance as well as resistance workouts to enhance power.
