Thursday 12th September 2019 – Styku, one of the world’s most pioneering health and fitness technology companies, has just launched Styku Academy, its brand-new e-learning portal, which aims to make every Styku customer a body composition pro and inspire the next generation to become experts in this field.

Available in nine languages, with a further option to add captions in your native tongue, the Styku Academy results in the Styku Certification Program and Body Composition Certification Program, which have been carefully designed for health, fitness and wellness professionals to keep existing staff trained while automating the on-boarding of new staff.

The courses educate Styku users on how to maximise the body scanning unit and software to its full potential in driving preventative care and reaching health, fitness and nutritional goals. However, far from being solely focused on Styku, the courses also educate users on basic and advanced principals of body composition analysis, goal setting and marketing, with quizzes and exams making the learning process fun, challenging and engaging.

Upon completion of the courses, learners are awarded digital certificates, further building their confidence and credentials and earning themselves the title of Styku Certified Coach, which could help to drive more personal training sales and memberships.

Tracy Morrell, Sales Director for Styku Europe, said: “We're incredibly excited about the launch of Styku Academy and think it will be a highly valuable tool, not only for our customers and distributors, but for the wider industry, as, over time, it will create a whole network of body composition experts who have been trained in best practice.”

“Importantly, Styku Academy also provides us with the opportunity to continue to educate our clients about new features and products as they are released, so that they always have the most up-to-date knowledge and guidance available to help them thrive in their professions.”

With its continued focus on education, Styku believes its e-learning platform offers some major benefits, most notably giving fitness professionals a way to train, re-train or refresh their staffs’ knowledge on Styku and body composition analysis in a quick, simple and effective way that frees them up to concentrate on other aspects of running their businesses.

Styku Academy also provides a single training message and process for all of Styku’s customers in every part of the world, making sure every customer follows the right procedures to set up and use the scanner. This will help to maintain high industry standards, while also offering customers a way to regularly and consistently upskill their staff and hold them accountable; ultimately enabling them to deliver the very best experience to their members.
