CHARLOTTE, NC RockBox Fitness  the state-of-the-art fitness franchise that combines boxing, kickboxing, and functional training into high-energy group workouts is expanding into the Atlanta market, and is gearing up with a signed development deal for two studios to open in the coming year.

Company plans call for approximately 15 studios to develop over the next several years across the greater Atlanta metro area exclusively through its franchising opportunity. Entrance into the Atlanta market comes on the heels of the company’s announcement to expand nationally. RockBox Fitness currently has five locations open and operating in the Charlotte area, with three more studios preparing to open between December to February of 2019. Additionally, the brand has 20 signed development deals in various stages of development to enter five new states: Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona, and California.

“We’re excited to bring our revolutionary fitness concept to Atlanta. RockBox is a results driven studio; we focus both on our members’ fitness and nutrition, and even help hold them accountable so they quickly achieve tangible results. RockBox provides a higher level of member support than what most fitness concepts offer. Plus RockBox classes are a whole lot of fun!” said Roger Martin, Co-Founder and CEO of RockBox Fitness. “The Atlanta metro area presents an opportunity for us to bring our goal-oriented studio culture to a continuously growing city. Charlotte has embraced RockBox and all that it can offer, and we are confident that Atlanta will do the same and we’re excited for the first two studios to open.”

Founded in 2017 and franchising since early 2018, RockBox Fitness was built to avoid the number one problem with any fitness program – boredom. The studios feature all the boxing equipment and heavy bags one would expect for a boxing- and kickboxing-based workout, plus an array of functional training tools like kettle bells, battle ropes and sleds (elliptical and treadmill machines need not apply). In addition, the studios are equipped with high-end sound systems to rock the tunes that keep members pumped and pushing hard. Color-adaptive lighting is also used to cue another level of psychological motivation. When the lights change, so does the intensity.

RockBox has four different membership types from which to choose ranging from unlimited training sessions to private lessons. The workouts are led by RockBox trainers who make up the expertise and the passion that drives each session. Each trainer is professionally certified, accredited and has years of experience boxing and kickboxing.

“We take fitness to a whole new level. Bootcamps and circuit training can sometimes grow stale and boring for participants. We don’t believe that creates long-term results,” said Halloran. “We’ve implemented the perfect variety of equipment to allow our members to achieve a full-body, goal-smashing, life-changing workout. We’ve helped tired moms experience new stamina, young professionals radiate confidence and fathers re-energize and re-engage.”

Franchise development agreements have already been signed for 22 studios in six states, including Arizona, California, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
