Charbonneau's arrival comes on the heels of Peerfit's expansion into the Medicare Advantage space with Peerfit Move, a new fitness benefit that will be available to Medicare Advantage plan members beginning 2020.
Peerfit connects employers and their employees to fitness studios and gyms through their insurance carrier or self-funded wellness dollars. Prior to that, Charbonneau was the VP for Medicare and Government Programs at Coventry Healthcare/Aetna in Florida and spent ten years in a variety of leadership roles with Humana.
