World’s first training professional optimized plans based on fitness genomics

LOS ANGELES-- Gold's Gym SoCal, the world's trusted fitness authority, and FitnessGenes, the industry pioneer in fitness genomics launch the world’s first personal training programs based on DNA interpretation and expert oversight. Launching in Gold’s Hollywood and Glendale locations this revolutionary partnership furthers both Gold's Gym's and FitnessGenes’ commitment to physique and health enhancement through personalized training and nutrition.

FitnessGenes recently received the world’s first formal education approval for their fitness genomics education program from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports medicine (NASM) and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Commenting on this milestone, FitnessGenes says, “Gold’s Gym is the perfect place to launch the next fitness revolution.”

Twelve of Gold’s Elite Personal Trainers and Nutritionists received Continuing Education Credits for the FitnessGenes Pro course and are now certified to develop genetically tailored exercise and nutrition programs for their clients using FitnessGenes DNA insights and recommendations. See a preview of the program in this video on the Gold’s SoCal YouTube page.

Consumers can now buy their FitnessGenes test kit in these two Gold’s locations, and once FitnessGenes has completed the genetic analysis, both the consumer and trainer are informed of the results. The Gold’s Elite Trainer then customizes FitnessGenes’ recommendations to account for any injuries, dietary preferences, and other lifestyle data to create the ultimate personalized training and nutrition plan for their clients. The $299 launch offer includes the FitnessGenes DNA Analysis and two 30-minute sessions with a certified Gold’s Gym, FitnessGenes Pro Certified Trainer.
