CSI Software Acquired by Daxko

The acquisition represents a market expansion for Daxko.

Health and fitness club enterprise software provider CSI Software LLC, Houston, has been acquired by Daxko Inc., Birmingham, Alabama.

The acquisition represents a market expansion for Daxko, which was already the largest provider of health and wellness software to member-based, non-profit organizations such as YMCAs and Jewish Community Centers, according to Thursday's media release announcing the acquisition. Daxko has 190 employees across the Southeast.

"Our two companies have been familiar with each other over the last decade, but with very little overlap in terms of the segments of the market we serve," Daxko CEO David Gray said in a statement. "This acquisition expands our product portfolio and our market opportunity, both of which will strengthen us as a business partner to the benefit of all of our combined customers."

CSI Software's leadership and employees were retained in the acquisition, and they will continue to work out of their current office in Houston.

"On our visits to Daxko’s offices and through many conversations with their leadership team, we are certain that this is the right move," CSI Software President and CEO Jonathan Ross said in a statement. "Daxko has already done many of the things that we’ve been wanting to do to take our business to the next level and is doing them well. We look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together."

Ross will lead the Houston team as senior vice president and general manager of CSI Software, as a product division of Daxko. CSI Software's membership management software and mobile applications are used in fitness clubs, campus recreation centers, parks and recreation facilities, wellness centers, and hotels and fitness resorts.

CSI Software's clients include The Houstonian, East Bank Club, Chelsea Piers, The Atlantic Club, the University of Kansas, ER JCC Houston, three Ritz-Carlton hotels and Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center, according to its website.
