Health and fitness industry professionals in the spotlight.

v Scott Goudeseune has been named vice president of sales and new business development for the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He brings more than 20 years of extensive sales and marketing experience to the San Diego-based nonprofit organization. He is expected to broaden ACE's direct sales and marketing efforts globally to health clubs, specialty fitness retailers and manufacturers.

v Precision Fitness Equipment, a dealer of exercise equipment, has named Kimberly Land to the position of vice president commercial sales for Florida and the Caribbean. According to a company release, Land joined Precision in 1996 and has played an instrumental role in earning the company designation as one of the country's top Life Fitness exercise equipment distributors.

v Michael Barnes, the strength development coordinator for the San Francisco Forty-Niner's, has joined the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as the director of education.

v Crunch Fitness International has appointed Patrick J. Diaz as chief financial and administrative officer. He brings 26 years of financial and operating experience as a senior financial officer and executive vice president of operations in private and public business environments.

In the September issue of Club Industry, we mistakenly referred to as An IHRSA site, enables users to locate IHRSA fitness facilities nationwide; the site also provides a detailed map and point-to point-to-point driving directions. We apologize for the confusion.
