Employers: Let's Work Out

CARLSBAD, CA — Companies and organizations should be more involved in helping to increase the physical activity levels of their employees, according to a recent survey conducted by morefocus, an online research organization.

Seventy-seven percent of respondents who participated in the survey about physical activity and work said that physical fitness was something that employers should more actively encourage with their employees. Researchers found that 64 percent of those surveyed said that children did not get sufficient exercise at school.

The research also found that 73 percent of those surveyed have regular exercise habits that include exercising at least once a week, but only 20 percent said they get enough exercise.
