Life Time Fitness Expands into Philadelphia Market With $30 Million Facility

The $30 million Life Time Athletic Mount Laurel&nbsp;facility opened on Wednesday.

Life Time Fitness, Chanhassen, Minnesota, has expanded into the Philadelphia market.

The $30 million, 170,000-square-foot Life Time Athletic Mount Laurel (New Jersey) facility opened on Wednesday, according to a media release from the company.

“It’s humbling to see how our truly unique and personalized healthy way of life approach has resonated here in South Jersey,” Mount Laurel General Manager Frank Quartararo said in a statement. “We’re on a mission to improve the health of our communities and simply can’t wait to impact the lives of area residents—from our littlest members to the most seasoned adults.”

Life Time Athletic Mount Laurel amenities include an indoor and outdoor aquatic center with zero-depth entry pools, lap pools and waterslides. Other amenities include five dedicated group exercise studios, 400 pieces of cardio and resistance training equipment, two full-size basketball courts, spa, café, and a kids academy.

Life Time Athletic Mount Laurel marks the 118th Life Time Fitness center in the United States. Life Time operates in 26 states and 34 markets. Life Time Fitness has 17 facilities in the northeastern markets, with five facilities in the New York and New Jersey market, and four facilities in northern Virginia.
