Cleaning Protocols As You Reopen: Don’t Miss Part Two of Club Industry’s Town Hall on This Topic

Club Industry’s series of town halls covering how COVID-19 is affecting the fitness industry continues with the next one available to you at 1 p.m. Eastern on May 13. Our seventh town hall is the second part of our “Allaying Member Fears With Good Cleaning Protocols After Reopening.” You can access it now by going here

Four new panelists answered your questions on topics such as how to market your new cleaning protocols, screening practices for members and staff, how to handle members showing signs of COVID-19 and disinfecting specific areas of your facilities. Panelists are Blair McHaney, owner of Worx and president and CEO of MXM; Maria Turco, founder of Honor Yoga; Eddie Johnston, director of operations for Chelsea Piers CT and regional operations director for Chelsea Piers Fitness; and Dr. Bruce Sherman, Ph.D., inventor and president of GymValet.

You’ll notice that with this town hall, we’re doing things a bit differently. We are recording our town halls in advance and debuting them at our regular time of 1 p.m. Eastern on Wednesdays. We’re doing this to help with resource issues from our town hall team and to allow for more flexibility for our panelists as more clubs reopen.

So watch for an eblast to come at the time the webinar goes live on-demand. We’ll also notify you on social media when it goes live. You’ll still have to register to view it, but it is still free.

This week’s webinar is brought to you by Zogics, Volt Guard and Fitness EMS.

To watch recordings of previous town halls, check out our town hall page by going here.

Written responses to other questions on cleaning and disinfecting are now available here.
