Texas Chain TruFit Athletic Clubs Expands to Tennessee

Texas chain TruFit Athletic Clubs, McAllen, Texas, is expanding into Tennessee, the company announced on Nov. 29.

TruFit Athletic, which has 36 clubs in Texas, opened its first Tennessee club in Antioch, and its second one will open in Madison before the end of the year. Additional locations will open in 2023 in Murfreesboro and Donelson.

As part of the expansion into Tennessee, the company is partnering with Tennessee Alliance for Kids, an organization that engages the community to meet the emergent and ongoing needs of children in foster care, those at risk of coming into foster care, and those aging out. The organization will get 100 percent of the $1 enrollment fees that the company charges new members at its new clubs in Tennessee.

“Being a purpose-driven organization focused on ‘Building A More Powerful You,’ TruFit came to the Tennessee market and partnered with a strong organization that had similar core values and purpose,” Steve Diniaco, CEO of TruFit, said in the announcement. “Tennessee Alliance for Kids was a natural fit, and we are excited to help support an organization with such a noble cause.”

Memberships at TruFit start as low as $10 per month, and the chain offers amenities such as women-only workout spaces, daycare, post-workout massage recovery machines, locker room saunas, and showers.
