  • Beacon Hill Athletic Club, a four-facility chain in the Boston area, is making plans to reinvigorate its image due to the heavy competition in its service area. Partnering with Fuse Inc., a marketing agency, Beacon Hill Athletic Club is preparing a comprehensive re-branding effort, including advertising, direct marketing, events, public relations and Web marketing.

  • WOW! Work Out World (New Jersey) has just opened its latest facility, WOW! on the Navesink, a “boutique” health and fitness center incorporating a controlled membership size and spectacular views overlooking the Navesink River in Red Bank, N.J. WOW! on the Navesink offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment for toning and strengthening, as well as a large variety of cardiovascular exercise equipment. This newest WOW! also includes a group cycling studio, personal training programs, private locker rooms, Pilates, circuit training, functional training studio, a coffee and elixir bar, a pro shop, and free use of four high-speed Internet kiosks.

  • Crunch has released a new CD (Crunch the Next Level) produced by Muscle Mixes Music. Featuring Kendell Hogan, the CD (also available on cassette) is 70 minutes of Top 40 and club music, and includes such tracks as “Survivor,” “Stranger in My House” and “Praise You.”
