MINDBODY's 2019 Fitness in America report polled 17,000 Americans who said that yoga, strength training and dance fitness were their three preferred group exercise activities. This gallery details the 10 most popular group exercise activities based on the report's survey data.

Yoga remains the most popular form of group exercise—and by a somewhat wide margin—according to survey data recently published by MINDBODY, San Louis Obispo, California. 

MINDBODY's 2019 Fitness in America report polled 17,000 Americans in late 2018 to better assess which trends would most shape the fitness industry throughout 2019. Respondents were ages 18 to 65 and were 51 percent female and 49 percent male.

For group exercise, MINDBODY asked respondents which group exercise routines they participated in at least once per week at an established fitness facility.
