XSport Fitness to Open Three More Illinois Health Clubs

XSport Fitness, Chicago, plans to open three new fitness centers in Illinois this year, bringing its open store count to 33. The company has increased its locations by 32 percent in the past two years. The three new locations will be in Schaumburg, Skokie and Chicago.

The fitness centers will be a combination of full-sized premiere locations (including a basketball court, swimming pool, and full-service spa) and XSport Express locations (focused on workout equipment, group exercise, personal training and massage).

“We are so appreciative for the high demand for our product that we’ve experienced at XSport in the past few years,” Dan Morrissey, COO of XSport Fitness, said in a release from the company. “Our model of high-quality equipment and facilities, excellent service, 24-hour accessibility and the best price point in the industry has been extremely popular with our customers.”

XSport Fitness is a family-owned and operated company comprised of fitness centers in the Chicago, New York and Washington, DC, metro areas. The 15-year-old company expects its membership to grow to more than 275,000 by the end of 2012, according to the release.
