The Sports Club Co. Enjoys Revenue Increase

The Sports Club Co., Los Angeles, saw revenues jump in the second quarter, according to financials announced today.

Revenues from operations for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, were $14.2 million compared to $13.5 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010, a 5.4 percent increase of $727,000.

Revenues for the first half of the year also were up for The Sports Club Co. For the six-month period ending June 30, 2011, revenues were $28 million compared to $26.7 million for the six months ended June 30, 2010, a 5 percent increase of $1.3 million.

The Sports Club Co. operates and owns luxury sports and fitness complexes under the brand name The Sports Club/LA in Los Angeles; Orange County, CA; Beverly Hills, CA; and at Rockefeller Center in New York City.
