Muscle Beach Celebrates 75th Anniversary

VENICE, CA -- Muscle Beach in Venice, CA, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and a new club franchise is sponsoring events to help with the celebration.

The Muscle Beach fitness club franchise, founded by Daniel Tschirret, chairman of Multinational Brands Inc., the parent company of the Muscle Beach franchise, says that the brand sponsored its first events—The Muscle Beach Military National Powerlifting Championship, the Muscle Beach Powerlifting Championships, the Muscle Beach Armed Forces Bodybuilding Championships and the Muscle Beach International Classic—on Memorial Day weekend. Additional events will run through Labor Day.

The next scheduled event is the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Muscle Beach on July 4. Representatives from all walks of the fitness industry have been invited, including inductees from the Muscle Beach Hall Of Fame. Also on that day will be the Mr. & Ms. Muscle Beach contest.

The season will wrap up on Labor Day, Sept. 7, with the Muscle Beach Bodybuilding Championships.

The events, which take place outdoors on Muscle Beach, are free and open to the public.
