Exhale Plans to Expand with Three New Locations

Exhale, New York City, will expand by three locations by early 2016 to bring its national footprint to 29 locations in 10 markets.

The company announced the Atlanta, New York and Evanston, Illinois, studio-only locations in a news release on Tuesday. Exhale said the locations will be "all about boutique fitness" and will feature the brand's Core Fusion classes.

Consulting firm DLDT Associates LLC, Atlanta, is directing exhale's real estate development. DLDT founding principal David Cochrane has personally guided the expansion of exhale's portfolio over the past four years in site selection, lease negotiation, store design and construction, the company said.

Exhale was founded in 2002 by Annbeth Eschbach and offers fitness classes, spa and healing therapies. Its programs include exclusive yoga and Core Fusion programs, including Core Fusion Barre, Barre+Cardio, Boot Camp, Cardio, Extreme, Sport or Yoga.

Here are the details of the new exhale locations:

  • exhale Inman Park: 299 North Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

Located in the ground floor of the newly developed Inman Quarter, exhale Inman Park will be the third exhale location in the Atlanta market. Situated in the heart of the in-town neighborhood of Inman Park, on the east side of Atlanta, the studio is a 15-minute drive from exhale Midtown Atlanta, a flagship location. The Inman Quarter development is a new mixed-use residential, retail and restaurant development. Exhale Inman Park is set to open October 2015.

  • exhale Evanston: 1890 Maple Ave, Evanston, IL 60201

Near Eschbach's alma mater, Northwestern University, exhale Evanston will be a ground floor studio space within a new luxury residential high-rise, E2. Located in downtown Evanston, this is exhale’s second Chicago location. The existing exhale Gold Coast is a flagship location. Exhale Evanston is set to open in December 2015.

  • exhale SoHo: 59 Thompson Street, New York, NY 10012

The newly built boutique fitness studio will relocate to 59 Thompson Street, replacing the current SoHo location at 68-70 Spring Street. The new exhale SoHo will feature lockers, changing rooms, showers and amenities, and a large studio with skylights. Exclusively accessible via a private elevator, exhale SoHo will be moving in early 2016.
