Anytime Fitness Challenges Parents with New Campaign

HASTINGS, MN -- Anytime Fitness launched a new campaign today that includes free 30-day memberships for adults.

The campaign features an organization called the Coalition of Angry Kids that is “angry” because it thinks their parents are not doing enough to help them lead healthy lifestyles. September happens to be National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. According to the campaign, the Hastings, MN-based company says there is no childhood obesity epidemic.

“Too much blame is being placed on the kids,” Anytime Fitness CEO Chuck Runyon says. “Adults need to step up and be better role models if we want our kids to be healthy. That’s what this is all about.”

In addition to the free 30-day memberships, Anytime Fitness is offering free 30-minute personal training sessions and free 30-day access to online support via www.AnytimeHealth.com.
