Special Education Opportunity for Not-for-Profits and Medical Fitness

Each segment of the fitness industry has a mission to help improve the health of their community, but sometimes, those segments have specific challenges that require specific remedies.

For the not-for-profit market that encompasses YMCAs, Jewish Community Centers, parks and rec facilities, and university rec centers, this can especially be true.

And for commercial clubs, studios and some in the non-profit world, the idea of integrating with the medical community is also a goal.

That’s why this year’s Club Industry Executive Summit, Oct. 17-19 at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel in Chicago, is offering two optional opportunities to attendees.

If you are in the not-for-profit world and are attending the Club Industry Executive Summit, make sure to check out the optional Not-for-Profit Workshop from 1 pm – 5 pm Central on Oct. 19. It was put together by Jason Stowell, industry consultant to JCCs.

And if you are interested in getting into or expanding your knowledge about medical wellness integration, check out the Medical Fitness Forum from 1 pm – 5 pm Central on Oct. 19. It was put together by the Medical Fitness Association.

Attendees to these two workshops can move back and forth between the two if they so wish.

The NFP Workshop’s agenda includes four presentations:
