It’s a bit of a magical experience when you find an innovative business leader and get the opportunity to connect that innovator with another innovator. And then, when you have the opportunity to watch the two talk and share some gems of wisdom, you feel blessed to have been let in the room (or Zoom) to hear it.
It’s even better when that discussion is about leadership and what leadership needs to look like today to inspire greater staff loyalty, retention and performance that elevates revenue for companies.
That’s what it was like when Club Industry connected the two keynote speakers for this year’s Club Industry Executive Summit, Oct. 17-19 in Chicago.
And who are these innovators? One is Donato Tramuto, founder of Health eVillages and the TramutoPorter Foundation, who has written a book called “The Double Bottom Line: How Compassionate Leaders Captivate Hearts and Deliver Results.” That will be the topic of his keynote address that opens the Executive Summit on the morning of Oct. 18. The other innovator is Raj Sisodia, co-founder of Conscious Capitalism Inc., who will speak on “Healing Our World: How the Fitness Industry Can Lead the Way.” Sisodia co-authored “Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business” with Whole Foods co-founder John Mackey. He also co-wrote “Firms of Endearment: How World Class Companies Profit from Passion and Purpose” along with several other business books.
