One of the many changes we made at this year's Club Industry Show is adding four lunch sessions in which you can learn about wellness, leadership, sales and marketing while networking with your peers and hearing from four industry experts. These additional sessions are all part of our effort to offer you more education and networking time, as many of you have requested.
On Oct. 12, you can choose from one of two lunch presentations:
- "Referral Mania: How to Maximize Referral Programs at Your Club" led by Casey Conrad, president of Communication Consultants. This marketing track session will include time for group discussions.
- "How to Take Advantage of Insurance Reimbursement for Preventive Care That Is Driven by Healthcare Reform" presented by Mike Benton, president and CEO of Genavix, as part of the wellness track.
We also have you covered on the second day of the conference program when we offer a lunch presentation in two other tracks. On Oct. 13, you have these two sessions from which to choose:
- "Will Salespeople Soon Be Obsolete?" led by Karen Woodard, president of Premium Performance Training. This session in the sales track will offer time for discussion.
- "Strategic Thinking for Health Club Leaders" presented by Bill McBride, CEO of Active Wellness and BMC3 Consulting. This session is part of the leadership track.
These lunch presentations are unique opportunities, but they are open to a limited number of people due to space constraints. To have the proper number of lunches on hand, we ask that you register for the luncheons in advance by at least two weeks prior to the Club Industry Show Oct. 12-14 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The lunches run an additional $30 on top of your all-access pass or single-day pass.
