When I was a child, I thought that when I would graduate from college, I would know everything I needed to know, and I would never have to learn anything new again. But, as I soon found out, you never know everything. You continue to learn throughout life.
The world changes quickly. The Internet wasn't around when I was in school, let alone cell phones, texting, social media and many other technologies that we take for granted today. And business changes, too. With the most recent recession, we all had to learn how to be smarter and more efficient in how we do business.
At Club Industry, we understand the importance of constantly learning and changing with the world. That is why we are not just a monthly print magazine, website and weekly e-newsletter. We also offer many educational opportunities for the fitness industry. As most of you know, the Club Industry conference and trade show is moving back to McCormick Place in Chicago this year. We are excited that from Oct. 23-25, we can offer you many educational sessions as well as educational opportunities in the Club Live area of the trade show floor.
