Arizona State University Receives Gold Certification in LEED Program

The 61,000-square-foot complex, which was completed in January 2013, received 17 out of 19 points on its LEED scorecard before solar panels and a solar pool heater boosted the project to a perfect score.

The Polytechnic Campus Sun Devil Fitness Complex at Arizona State University has received a gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program.

The 61,000-square-foot fitness complex in Tempe, AZ, was completed in January 2013. The project cost almost $26 million and was funded from a student services fee in the fall of 2011.
