Title Boxing Club, Ann Arbor, Michigan, has hired Susan Boresow as president, promoted former President John Rotche to CEO and added Alex Roberts as chief development officer, the company announced.
Tom Lyons, a co-founder of the company, will continue as chairman and managing partner.
Boresow has steered brand vision casting for franchising businesses that include McDonald's, Sport Clips, Cold Stone Creamery, Pump it Up and Godfather's Pizza. Most recently, she served as the chief marketing officer for the membership-based therapeutic massage company Massage Envy. Boresow has been responsible for executing marketing programs and membership-sales based models.
Boresow will develop strategies that will guide the direction and evolution of the Title Boxing Club brand, strengthen franchisee relationships and evolve the company's vision and mission, the company statement said.
“Title Boxing Club is a rising star with tremendous potential to dominate the fitness segment,” Boresow said in the statement. “As president, I have an incredible opportunity to apply best practices that I’ve utilized across multiple franchise brands, including several with membership models. With John Rotche’s guidance as CEO and the strength of the entire leadership team, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish.”
In the past three years, Rotche has helped grow the brand from 50 units to more than 500 units open and under development throughout the United States and Mexico.
Roberts, who will be responsible for the domestic and international growth of the franchise, brings with him sales and development experience, including 10 years in leadership positions with multi-brand franchisor Service Brands International.
Title Boxing Club has 150 locations open across the country and more than 400 in development.
Inc. Magazine listed the company at No. 202 on its 5000 List for 2014. The company also is ranked No. 230 on 2015’s Entrepreneur magazine 35th Annual Franchise 500 list, No. 9 on the magazine’s 2014 Top New Franchise list and No. 36 on the 2014 Fastest Growing Franchise list.
The company was founded by retired professional boxer and promoter Danny Campbell and Lyons. Current ownership is under Lyons, Campbell, Rotche and Rick Washburn.
