Operator of Hawthorn Sport & Spa in Chapter 11, Evicted from Club

The landlord for the Hawthorn Sport & Spa in Hillsboro, OR, has evicted the club's operator, Allstate Financial Group, and locked the doors after a judge ruled the eviction could proceed even as Allstate reorganizes in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. The judge issued a similar ruling involving a second club owned by Allstate, but that club remains open.

A judge authorized the landlord for Hawthorn Sport & Spa in Hillsboro, OR, to evict the club's operator, Allstate Financial Group, according to documents from U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Western Washington. The landlord, DW Sivers Co., barred the doors on Friday, soon after the judgment was received.

DW Sivers Co. plans to reopen the club under the name Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club, possibly by April 1,
