The Cooper Institute, Dallas, has named Blaine Nelson as its new president and CEO. Nelson replaces Fred Meyer, who retired in July 2012.
Nelson, a Dallas businessman and philanthropic leader, was unanimously approved by The Cooper Institute Board of Trustees, according to a press release. The Dallas Business Journal first reported Nelson's hire last month.
