ClubCorp Holdings Inc., Dallas, recently became the third publicly traded company in the U.S. health club space, joining Life Time Fitness, Chanhassen, MN, and Town Sports International, New York.

ClubCorp, which owns more than 150 private golf and country clubs in North America, many of which include fitness centers, announced in September the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 18 million shares of common stock at a price of $14 per share. ClubC
